Is This You?
You’re pretty active, aren’t you?
You squeeze as much out of your body as you can. You may not be made for the Olympics, but gosh darn it, you’re doing that half marathon!
Or you’re commuting by bike, learning to run barefoot, training for your next triathlon, leveling up in Kung Fu, or dancing 10 hours a week. (Or possibly all 5 of those. Don’t pretend you haven’t thought about it.)
Whatever you do, you rely on your body to work well, to keep you happy and feeling alive.
Of course, sometimes your body rebels.
I’m not just talking injuries, here. I’m talking about trying to ramp up your workouts, only to find that you get tweaky and achy the more you do. I’m talking about the cumulative stresses of years of physical activity.
And especially, I’m talking about your body holding you back from enjoying what you do, getting better at what you do, or downright doing what you do.
Are you an Aspiring Active Person?
Maybe the above used to describe you. Age, injury, your new bundle of joy, all of it can do a number on your formerly sporty self.
Of course, maybe you haven’t gotten there quite yet. Perhaps you try out the gym every so often hoping you’ll finally make a habit of it. Maybe you even stick with it for a few weeks, until—OUCH—something bad happens. Or you just get tired of being sore all the time.
Hey guess what? We’re all in the same boat!
We all want the joy that movement brings. Pain-free, efficient, beautiful movement.
I’ll help you get there.
Whether you’re in the “still daydreaming about getting in shape” mode. Or whether you’re in the “I just ran a marathon; please put me back together!” mode.
Wherever you are on the spectrum, I don’t judge.
(If I did, I’d have to throw myself into the gauntlet, and that would be pure mayhem. Oh hey, has anyone seen those extra 25 pounds I used to carry around?)
Work with me, and your body will get closer to that
well-oiled-machine you want it to be.
Why Active People?
Because you’re like me, and I understand that. We speak the same language. We value the need to move, to push our bodies, to breath hard and know we’ve done a good job.
Because you’ll get better results. You’re not just active, you’re proactive. Your brain is tuned in, and your neural pathways are open. Your body will absorb more of the work and have longer-lasting (and often permanent) positive changes.
And lastly, because Active People have more fun. It’s true. If you don’t believe me, well, maybe you need to hang out with more people like us.
Change is definitely possible. Find out more about working with me.
